The Twilight Report

So I get up this morning and mosey over to the computer, like every other week day, I work at home for a few hours, get dressed and ready and then actually go into the office for the afternoon. The windows in my computer room are east facing, and my morlock cave at work is lit with florescent lighting, so you can see why it is that I have chosen to operate in this manner. Anyway... here I am typing and debugging away and I hear this noise:

Kind of sounds like a truck backing up or something like that. The neighbors were doing a construction project yesterday, adding on to their deck. I figured maybe this was another construction project.

Then it keeps going for longer that I would expect for it to take a truck to backup. I think maybe now somebody their alarm clock going. Maybe the snoozed it, and then left without turning it off. I figured it was probably the upstairs neighbor.

Now... it sounds an awful lot like that noise is coming from... uh... yeah. My bedroom. I can't believe how long it took me to work this out.
