I came out of my house the last two days and noticed that the tree outside my door is starting to turn red. It does this in the spring and in the fall. In the in-between bit it is bright green. Then I took a picture of my mailbox and the flowers which have spring up around it!

!!!

Here is a picture of me as I get ready to drive to work. This is why I am glad that I drive a hybrid. The last two are little pieces of the factory that I work in.

amazing! i am tempted to email that picture to my mother and see if she knows. she is an amateur botanist of sorts. maybe you could call her a "backyard botanist." oh, i just remembered she has a BS in bio i think, so that gives her some credibility. maybe.

i am experimenting with longer (for me, anyway) hair right now. it is half "what will i look like with longer hair?" and half "kara never comes over to cut my hair because she's too busy fighting with her boyfriend and being pregnant." i don't know how i feel about it.

it is a crappy excuse. she has to puke a lot sometimes, but come on, i need mah hurr did! the boyfriend thing is weird. i understand that when she's arguing with him, she does not feel like doing anything, but i also think that if she came and did my hair, she'd get out of the house and not have to think about it as much, and that might help.
