Figment II

I paid off my car this morning.

The new version of OS X "Tiger" is set to be released next Friday. When it is, I am going to order a G5 and name it Figment II. I'm going to buy memory from not Apple and I am hoping that I can hook it up to both of my big monitors and run it double head like my PC works right now.

Figment II specs [1]

• 2x 2GHz 64bit G5 Processors
• 4GB Main memory (4x 1GB DIMMs)
• 250GB HD
• ATI Radeon 9600XT w/128MB DDR SDRAM
• 8x DVD-R/CD-RW
• OS X v10.4 "Tiger"

This is going to be a business expense.

I am thinking I should save $100 and get the 160GB drive now. I already have more storage than I am using for now, and I can always get a cheaper second drive from not apple.

i think my sister is giving me hers when she goes to senegal. i am not sure of any of the specs on it, though i do know it plays dvds and burns cds (moving into the 21st century wooh!).

speaking of specs, at work the other day a tech told me something about a customer's spessications.
i had to try really hard not to laugh.
