What about stupid boys who are all "I'm on a diet". There is this one guy at work... somebody who I haven't cataloged *yet* in my list of obnoxious coworkers who is as skinny as a rail and somebody is on a hike one day and asks him "Hey Adam, you want some celery" and he says "no thanks, I'm on a diet."

i am used to man-dieters because i went to school with lots of the gay men. i know it's cliché, but it's also true.

i wasn't implying that he was a closet case, just stating that i'm not even phased by ridiculous comments like that anymore.

this girl at work was freaking out because kara dyes her hair and is pregnant. she told us that doctors say not to dye your hair when pregnant (which is totally false becuase hair is DEAD, never mind that kara is actually a licensed hairdresser and knows these types of things). another girl chimed in, "my friend's wife dyed her hair when she was pregnant and the baby ended up having black and blond hair because she had dyed hers blond," and i had to be the bigmouth asshole that blurted out "that's not the hair dye, that's genetics."

during my orientation at the U of A, there was this brother-sister duo in my group named A_______ and S______ Parsons. S_______ was anorexic, i think, or bulimic, or both -- he hardly touched his food when we went to eat, and kept remarking on how "fat" he was. the guy was RAIL-thin, and taller than i am. disturbing.

i lived with an anorexic obsessive compulsive (graham has read about this i think), and while i felt bad that she was so screwed up, man are they the MOST annoying people in the world to live with!

also by the end of my year in hell, i had lost the ability to feel bad at all because she was such a bitch, but now i just feel bad that she is so messed up and will never get help and, last i heard, is now pregnant. it scares me that people like that are allowed to procreate.
