I think I just accidentally installed some speech recognition pack for Word by using some obscure keyboard shortcut. Lord knows that I don't know anything about software engineering, but it seems to me to be bad design to just start installing shit you don't need because you accidentally typed Ctrl-S Alt-V when you meant Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C. I hate UNIX I wish everything was DOS.

I had forgotten about that quote. Stephanie's older brother. I thought he knew so much about computers (he was the one-eyed man, and therefore king, since i was blind at the time), but before I'd even learned the bare bones of...anything, I knew enough to realize I'd given him too much credit.
