I haven't been to New Mexico in... I think it's over a year and a half now. Since my mother moved to the land of funeral potatoes and really "important" college football rivalries, I haven't really wanted to. I do miss the food though. Mum and Don just got back from a little visit to the Land of Enchantment and sent me a care package. Wow, it's just like being in college again! That along with
The Incredibles was waiting for me when I got home from work. I had totally forgotten that I had ordered it, so it was a nice surprise.

In my care package:
- 1 bottle "Sadie's" Salsa, Hot
- 4 4oz cans of Hatch Green Chile
- 2 packages of blue corn tortillas (not to be confused with blue corn tortilla chips)
- 1 box of Southwest Chicken Chowder
- 1 box Blue Corn Chicken Enchilada Soup
- 1 packet of Green Chile Dip
- 1 box of Green Chile Stew
- 1 packet Green Chile Salsa Medium Hot "Just add Tomatoes"
- 1 packet Green Chile Fiesta Marinade (Carne Adovada)
- 1 bottle of MOLE
- 2 bags of Blue Corn Tortilla Chips (one standard and one "Red Hot")
- 3 Chocolate Easter Eggs (it's Easter next weekend I guess; I need to call my grandmother)
I just got done watching The Incredibles and taking inventory of my new acquisitions. I am so happy right now.

Date: 2005-03-23 06:50 pm (UTC)my mother left me a voicemail the other day to tell me she was sending me $25 to buy myself something for easter. money is always great, but care packages are extra special, and i'll probably just end up using the money to pay bills...
i have not seen the incredibles, but i think maybe i should check it out.

The Incrdibles was incredible (I’m a dork). The first I heard about it was on NPR (I’m a dork) and I knew I wanted to see it without even having seen a preview or anything. I guess that is what happens when you don’t watch TV.
