All the food is ready I just have to get cleaned up now.

I had extra tortillas so I decided to make my own tortilla chips. Then I had to record them with my macro lens and flash.

Also a yellow corn chip.

This one was in the oven a little long because I forgot about that batch.

Lena made apple flowers for desert.

Then I started having fun with my macro lens. This is the cheese grader that I used to grade so much cheese today. SO MUCH CHEESE.

This is my computer nerd lego minifig. He looks just like me, except more hair.

This alien landscape is actually a close up of the onion. Yup. I am pretty much aiming my macro lens at anything at this point.

Avocado. This doesn't get sliced for freshness until the last moment.

Lime for decoration. Only Lena will consume it whole. She loves limes. I call her lime. She calls me drakon. It's a long story.

Rice pre-spanish rice. I make most of the stuff myself, but the rice comes out of a packet and the beans come out of a can.

Plantain chips. They came out of a bag.

This enchilada is pre-left overs unless we get hungry! I made it out of the left over filling and enchilada sauce. It isn't cooked yet. But I will cook it at the same time as the dinner enchiladas.

This is Lena attacking me with her giant thumb!

Lena is playing music from The Legend of Zelda. I think it is time for me to clean up!

Macros of food are so much fun!

Also, I had no idea that there exists such a thing as purple corn. Alien magic! :D

I should really use the macro more. I got the macro flash at a deep discount second hand but hardly used. I think I've only gotten it out maybe three times, but the results are pretty amazing.

Corn is so much more colorful south of the border, and to a lesser extent in New Mexico.
