standing up

There is a minority (but growing one) of coworkers at NetCon who stand up while working. Bee Man actually has a treadmill, which sounds like a brilliant way to keep fit while writing code. In general though, I think if I was the neighbor to one of these stand ups it would be a bit creepy. Even if you only see a bald head poking up over your cube wall, wouldn't it make you feel like you're being watched?

haha I used to stand up and work on days when I was stuck in front of the computer. The colleague who shared the room with me would freak out. I learnt to give her advance notice! :)

These days I read emails, everything standing up, because if I dare sit down my little one will crawl under the desk and pull on all the wires!

(I write this sitting down - feels like a luxury as little one is sleeping!!)

It's not weird it just feels like someone is watching me. How am I supposed to facebook at work when people are watching me?
