An acquaintance posted this cartoon from the New York Times about useless stereotypes on the Google Plus.
He complained that his neighborhood is always left off most magazine maps. He did not say anything about the entire continent of Australia which is conspicuously absent, or most of South America which got clipped. Where is the stereotype that New Yorkers think that their city is the centre of the universe? (I do earnestly want to believe that it is just a stereotype)
