When the power went out a few weeks ago the microwave forgot what time it was and I have been without a clock in the apartment which wasn't also either a phone or a computer. It's funny that I say a phone, because my phone is really just an Internet device that happens to sometimes make phone calls. Just now I was thinking that I ought to have a clock as I was waiting for the tardy movers to show up. Only I am against time pieces in general, and especially ones that I have to set, hence the microwave that still doesn't know what time it is. There is some circular logic in there somewhere that is keeping me from operating at otherwise peak proficiency.
