Update

Amanda requested updates.

Last week I invented a new dish which is a little bit like what you would get if you were making enchiladas, only you had run out of tortillas. This is because, surprise! I was fresh out of tortillas [1]. It actually tasted pretty good, and I reheated the leftovers from that for dinner tonight, which was also good. I am running precariously low on vegemite again.

I also watched Kingdom of Heaven, which just came out on DVD. For the most part I love Ridley Scott's movies, they always look so meticulous, and beautiful. I do, however, wish that he would take more care in the way that he portrays history, especially in such politically volatile subjects such as the Crusades.

[1] Note: tortillas are not tortilla chips. I'm not sure why, but sometimes I need to explain this to people because they become confused, espeically when I start talking about blue corn tortillas, which I don't often see outside of New Mexico.

rochester is full of blue corn tortillas. i could probably walk down to the 20/20 mart (a sketchy establishment, at best) and find them. maybe it's because this place is rife with yuppies. i dunno.


i had a quesadilla for dinner. it was disappointing.

oh man i had a queasadilla too and i didn't even know amanda had one!

i am making enchiladas for pot luck at work next week. they will love me forever (not really).
