Interesting
Jul. 30th, 2005 07:20 pmOn page 12 of the Economist this week is a story
"the new face of London's police" about the British response to the attacks in
London earlier in the month.
Facing it, on page 13 is an article titled "A farewell to arms" detailing the IRA's declaration that all its units are to "dump arms" and carry on using "exclusively peaceful means."
Under the IRA article is another "Too much morality, too little sense" about the administration's response to the AIDS crisis.
To think the man who told us the fairy tail about Iraq's weapons of mass distruction is the same one who thinks that telling people not to have sex is the answer to solving the AIDS pandemic. Shocking.
Also: I just realized the Economist doesn't have a sports section.
