Please excuse the computer nerdity for a moment. I woke up with an idea this morning.

One solution to the disaster which is the reporting and GUI code might be to just chuck it all and re-write in XML. I had wanted to do that in ChipBench, but I couldn't really do it since I wasn't in charge, but I sort of own the GUI and reporting code in EinsTimer now, such as it is. Need to research what XML libs are available to me. I know they do some of that stuff in The Guide (not to be confused with The Guide). Maybe that would be a good place to start.

Update: it occurs to me that they are probably doing it wrong in The Guide (once again, not to be confused with The Guide), but still.
