Got up early today, checked my internets for a while and then went to
sleep. Got up again and hiked Mt. Beacon. I was looking for the junk that
they have lying up there, unfortunately somebody has removed most of it,
which is a pity, because I hiked up there especially to photograph them
close up. I did manage to find an old fridge rusting away on the side of
the trail on the way back down, so it wasn't a complete loss. Also, it was
cool because I was able to do a complete round trip (I didn't have to come
back the way I came) hike without having to drive anywhere! I left my
house and went for a walk. It rocked.
I took mostly E-6 (slide) so it will be about two weeks before I get them
back. I took a few photographs with my phone though:

Two pensive self portraits:
I actually like the way my camera phone totally messes up color. I know it
is trying hard to get the white balance right, but it does some interesting
things. I think it will be fun to experiment with.
Two photos of beacon. From where I was standing when I took the second
one, one could make out the graveyard and Main Street. You can from this
photograph, but they are more like blobs than actual objects.
