So the furor over Parallel Abstraction has sort of died down; I can now get back to doing the simple things in life like making reports come out right.

I'm making the posole for the party on Saturday as I type this. I'm not making as much as I usually do, but there is still going to be leftovers, I am sure. Brad said that he would make guacamole, so at least there is that.

I went up to On Location today to get my slides from this weekend's shoot. One or two of these are going to be used in a real project, so please take a look at them and tell me which ones you think are good, or at least less hideous than the rest. These are test scans, so they are low res, I haven't done any spotting and only minimal color correction (for some reason they scanned with a little more red than what is in the actual slide), so just assume that the final images will be of higher quality.

#1 is really cute (well hello, graham)
the pose in #11 is so cheesy that it made me giggle
not a huge fan of #14 and #15, not sure why, but the others are far better
and i really really like #16, i think it's my favorite.

you know, i really hate the word "cute" when it's referencing a human being over the age of 10. yet i continue to use it. sorry.

Well hello Amanda... :)

Is it just me, or is your favorite the only one where I am not smiling?

I’ve noticed that. It’s like your eyes. I used to wonder what your eyes looked like. Now I wonder what your smile looks like.

I bet like your eyes, it is worth the wait.

i think they are all very cute. why do you look like the nicest person in existence, graham!?
1, 10, and 1448 are very good for public relations-type usage, and i like 9 in a cute high school portrait kind of way.

i grinned at 12, and 13 had me audibly chuckling.

i agree with amanda about 16. i think it is for some reason deeper and more mysterious (?!) than the others, and i think the blue compliments you well.

It is a silly movie, but it made me laugh.

when i saw it, i was with my friend chris (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/berniceandmaude/970871681941l.jpg), which made it much funnier. i kept looking at the screen and then at him, wondering if ben stiller had stalked him to create the character.

It is really best to see movies with friends. Especially if your friends are being stalked by celebrities.
