When storing negatives

I have mixed feelings about Vivian Maier. I think photography as a medium is stronger with her photographs out there. On the other hand she clearly didn't want to share them. Nothing in photography annoys me more than when other people think that they own my photographs. If someone did that with my negs it would feel like a violation.
