Earlier this week I had a meeting with Alex and Jennifer where Alex
essentially "okay, Graham, you know about databases so you can help
Jennifer on VLTR and Jennifer, you know about the reporting code so you
can help Graham with the reporting code." The question I ask myself is,
that being the case, why don't I work on VLTR and Jennifer can work on
the rotten reports?
I was happy to have someone to help me do work on
the reporting code though, because that drives me crazy
when it isn't simply infuriating me.
Among the trials and tribulations incumbent on the owner of the reporting code is giving a short presentation at the annual CST, which is coming up. So I've been asking around for any changes that have been made to the reporting that need to be covered there. Everyone has now gotten back to me on what needs to be presented.
Everyone except Jennifer of course.
Today I was in Adil's office and Jennifer stops to say, "Hello Graham, sorry I haven't responded to your note in the past three days." Why even bother to stop and tell me that. If she had responded then I would have gotten the reply and would know. She might as well stop me in the hall and say, "I'm sorry Graham, I am completely useless. You may now go about your business as usual."
